If you are looking for a different look and feel for various parts of your website I would recommend Divi. There is a learning curve, but you will get total control of your design.

I would not recommend having too much design variatoins within the same website. Thre should be a recognizable thread throughout the aooearance of the whole site.

Hi,

with "themes" you mean "niches" right?
When talking about websites, "themes" usually means the way a website looks.

"Niches" are the topics you talk about.

If you start a site and talk about many different things, you will have a hard time ranking.
Additionally, when people come to your site because they were searching for dog toys and then see that you are also writing about wireless headphones, they will most likely leave.
Because they are not interested in headphones.

So, in most cases, it is best to stay within one narrow niche when starting out.

Hey Moritz and thx for the reply. Actually I do mean themes (the look and feel of the website) I’ve got an idea on the “what” or niche of my site but my question is on the theme itself. What I mean is .. as I look thru the hundreds of themes I notice some seem to lend themselves to a blog look more than others. Are there any tips to choosing the right theme (look and feel) for my site?
Is there a checklist (so to speak) that you use when choosing the theme (look and feel) from the hundreds of stock themes to choose from?

I'd always go for simple and clean themes.
Must be responsive, of course.

Free theme: take a look at generatepress.
Quite customizable for a free theme.

Paid themes: Thrive or Divi are both great if you want a professional theme that has loads of things included like landing page templates, pop ups for lead generation, etc.
