Finally! I made my first Affiliate Commission £35
When you are told you make money in your sleep with Affiliate Marketing, it is true! I am still pinching myself trying to make sense of where the money came from. It is definitely from Affiliate Marketing because my Awin Dashboard shows it and it took only 2 hours between the click and the transaction to be made. I wrote a post where I used my affiliate links for the first time.
Why was I just writing a post with Affiliate links for the first time?
I always thought my posts didn't lend them self the opportunities to have affiliate links in them. I have affiliate banners around my site but I never used them as in-text affiliate links until now.
How did it happen?
I wrote the post 2 weeks ago (22nd of July) and shared it in my blogging group on Facebook. After sharing the post, I had 68 clicks and 1 sale with a network (approved) and a further sale (yet to be approved).
What do I intend to do now?
I am starting Bootcamp training asap. I am creating an affiliate marketing niche website. I have since discovered that the make money niche is not too saturated and the sky is big enough for us all to thrive.
Tips for those yet to make money through affiliate commissions
Take action. I mean it, take action. Write that post, add those links and market on social media. It will happen for you too. I truly believe there is money to be made online and with the knowledge and expert training in this community, you can make it happen too.

I believe you will make money, you already have a YouTube platform and your niche is a good one.
I have different banners, there are side banners, headers and all.
My top tip is to write posts and add the Affiliate links to the post naturally.

Awesome sauce- that's wonderful to hear! Making that first commission is memorable, for sure. I remember doing that in my first two months at WA.
