Feel that im missing something!

my site is : www.socceraccessoryonline.com

Hello everyone. I want all the opinions i can get to see if this feeling of incompleteness is gone. I feel that structured wise my website is complete. I have all the menus that i wanted thinking that it would help best the person visiting it links and some content (still need more content and currently working on it) authorship and site maps are configured and submitted to web masters with no errors. All is left is to expand the item catalog little by little as i gain more affiliates. Im already indexed but not ranked yet. But somehow i feel that something is still missing.

So i am opening this discussion so that everybody can take a look at it and give their pros and cons. Im talking about esthetically (image and appearance), content wise and ultimate goal.

The idea of my webpage is to help people understand the importance of soccer accessories, their individual uses, specific reviews through personal experiences in the field so that people know what they are getting and offer the best prices on the net from different stores and brands all in one place so that people don't have to waste so much time searching the World Wide Web. So being confutable is a goal.

The other goal is traffic wise. I mean my website is new its only been 3-4 months and i started out strong but now im getting 7-10 visitas every two weeks or so but only 14 referrals to amazon in that time. I really need those numbers to go up and its interactivity with the audience. More content is a must i know and i am doing it but slow because it takes me a lot of time to do the research and post a good article plus manage my full time job and family on the side. im doing 1 post a week tops.

So what things you think i should dedicate more time to for the betterment of the site and goals?

in my opinion:

1. more content more consistently, more than 1 per week at least :)

2. some type of mini game or intractability with World cup standings or something that makes people interact with the page not just with the articles and the items.

...other than this i am currently stumped .... so any feedback would be very appreciated! thanks to all in advanced. If you want me or someone to take a look at your site as well post it so we can all help each other

Hey, don't forget about FIFA World Cup Brazil. Very soon whole world will be talking and thinking football. Don't miss this opportunity.

yeah michael thanks for the suggestion. i have been working on some news and updates on that knowing that this is an opportunity to boost the site. I'm even finishing a mini game where people can play selecting their favorite world cup team in order to give the site a bit more engagement. Kudos for the help :)

Your site looks very professional to me. Content is the key for you here now. Keep up the good work.

Thanks karyskis. I am having a bit of a block on creating my content but am working on it! Need to focus on posting more frequently the content like everyone has pointed out! thank you for the complement because it is really helpful to see the positive feedback that keeps that flame going to keep on working hard!

thanks to all for taking the time out of your busy schedule to help out! really appreciate it! will be applying your tips as promptly as posible!

The very first thing I looked for was the products that are soccer accessories. Instead of having all the content "above the fold" why not move the different accessories like the shoes, training practice, clothing and protective gear first, then some content then your blog post.
Also, If I'm looking for soccer accessories I'm looking at your main navigation to find different departments like shoes, soccer balls, padding and things like that. One thing I like to do is look at what the big boys are doing. They pay a lot of money to have professionals do their sites that have done research on how consumers move around the sites and purchase.
Take a look at this site: http://www.worldsoccershop.com/departments-accessories.html

Would you be able to mimic some of their departments with the accessories you are offering?

If so then you might want to set up your main navigation with the different departments so those coming to your site can shop that way.

These are just some of my initial thoughts and observations on your site.
Other than that, content, content, content is going to be the key and getting yourself out there on the Social Media Sites.

Hope that helps some.

Be Blessed,
Audrey

thanks audrey! will use your category example and try to apply it! in my item catalog i am dividing the equipment pero uses and category as you established but only 4 general ones! gonna try to be more specific! in the home page the widgets take you to those categories as well! social wise i am not that good at it! i mean i opened a google + because of the authorship. i just like physical interaction better thant cyber. heck i think im one of the few who doesn't have a Facebook jeje. But i have seen thanks to all the responses that it is a must now! so will be opening the accounts and try to add friends and people on it little by little.! thanks for your time and answer

Nice site, but you're right, something is missing. Social engagement. Having only g+ is not enough. What about Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest...? Get a social plugin. Share your site. Let people share it.

thanks for the response and your time. Various suggestions keep pointing to content (which i know i am lacking a lot and doing it to slow even for my standards because of the poor time frame i have available to work on the page) and social networking. but no excuses if it has to be done i have to do it for the betterment of my site, business and way of life! thanks again :)

I think your site looks awesome to be honest. Content is going to be the key as well. You are going to want to update with new content a few times a week. It will take a bit, but make sure you are using good keywords in your content to help get you ranked on google.

i suspected that i was lacking on content! well kinda felt sure of it jeje. i am using keywords that have a QSR from 50-200 but i am only posting once pero week tops sometimes i fall back and post in week and a half or 2 but i am trying to fix that issue by scheduling my self more and sacrificing some sleep time! i can't keel letting my 12hr full time job get in the way of my success! :)
