Some thoughts

Well, it`s time for some progress review. I mean, it`s been for about 6 months since I discovered WA in a YouTube review (of something else).

I must say: it`s like finding a mentor: Someone who guided you along a dark road full of bumps and cracks.

I started knowing nothing about online marketing, site building, and social networking (I hate Facebook, don`t tell…).

My progress Thus far:

• 1.I have learned how to build a site in WP.
• 2.I have learned how to use keywords.
• 3.Started writing posts. Trying very hard to write quality content.
• 4.I have learned how to use Facebook Ads to create my list of followers.
• 5.I`m using Email marketing program to automatically send post to subscribers.
• 6.I started using Amazon affiliate to sell related products (Well, not actually selling… but trying to… :-) )

As I have told you, I created a site called myrelaxingvacation.com.

By Relaxing Vacation I mean not only a trip overseas or a cruise or a weekend in a beautiful cabin, but also all kind of relaxing activities or techniques you can use for relaxation.

Eventually, I believe, if you will find how to relax yourself on a daily basis you will be much more successful as a worker/student/parent/friend etc.

I`m very proud of my site cause I built it all by myself from scratch without any previous knowledge.

I must admit that I`m in a difficult period these days because although I`m doing everything "by the book" it doesn`t seem to generate any success. In success I mean by a genuine site visitor`s comment or someone buying a product I promote.

I know, maybe it`s too soon. I need to be more patient.

The main reason for that lack of success, I presume, is because I don`t like all that social networking stuff: I started “using” Facebook, Pinterest and G+ only because I “have to” (What can I say, I`m a private person and don`t like to share my life with the rest of the world…). So, that`s why I don`t have a social network to “ride” on and to promote my site/products.

But maybe that`s not the reason? I will be grateful if you can give me an extensive feedback about:

It will mean a lot to me and hopefully will give me the corrections whom I need so much to succeed.

Anyway, I`m very proud to be part of WA community and to learn from all of the great people and great stuff in WA.

I`m proud of the progress I made and of all the knowledge I have now. All due to the certification courses and the live video classes which are truly treasure (I enjoy watching and learning from Jay - You are great, Man!).

I`m considering these days to build a second site, in a much more specific niche, because I suspect that my first topic wasn`t a successful one. Maybe a first sell will happen.
