Site comments
Well woke up this morning and could not wait to see what went on at my site and to my surprise I received over 40 comments I was dum founed but worked my way through them and found that about 15 of them where spam I as they had nothing to do with my site seemed like they where trying to advertise on my site it took me almost 3 hours to reply and remove all those comments. Is there a way to stop the unwanted comments from even showing up without having to view the spam? Thanks again W/A for getting me to this stage in my life things are really starting to roll. This is still quite the learning experiance, I'm nevouse though as I will be returning to work soon and will not have as much time to reply and remove the bad comments "spam" Hope I can keep up with it and still write my content. Thanks again all you wonderful folks and have a great day.

I tried the wp spamshield and then tried to go to my site and it took very long to load deactivated wp spamshield and all was well so not sure what is going on with this plug in but not up to par for me any ways reactivated Akismet for now it at least lets my site load Has any one else seen this?
Antispam Bee I believe is better than both Akismet and WP Spamshield. I tried Spamshield before had many problems with that so I deleted it and went back to Antispam Bee.
Take care
Andre
Found this on WA. Some folks change akismet to wordpress spamshield.

Giludi appears to have found an answer to AKISMET. Akismet error code 10003 has anyone experienced this?
Sadly, no - spam is a curse. But as you look at it, you'll find you can recognize spam a lot faster. I can get through 40 comments in about 10 minutes now.
I never reply to spam, it let's them know that you are reading their rubbish, just delete delete delete or trash it.
