Nostalgia Ain't What It Used To Be!

Some have said that nostalgia is a bit like English grammar.

" Present tense and past perfect"

Often today is the tomorrow we were worrying about yesterday.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, "If only I'd known then what I know now!"

But we can't safely drive forward just looking in the rear view mirror. We have to look ahead as well.

Now is where we are. That sounds obvious.

But how often do we live in the past or the future?

Haunted by past mistakes or future worries?

Now is the the only moment when we are truly alive, second by second.

If we can savor and enjoy the now, then we have an ongoing feast.

Truth be told we're younger now than we ever will be,

and older now than we ever have been!

Let's make the most of it while we can!
