First Roadblock But Not The Last

Hey, guys.

I want to share something that happened this week. Something that slowed the momentum I had in my business and almost killed it before it even really began.

So, the niche I have chosen is the "make money online" space, focusing on affiliate marketing. I chose this niche because it is something that I'm very passionate about. I've always been fascinated by the Internet. Something about being able to connect with people around the world just seems magical to me. That might sound corny but that's just the way it is.

Now, I know that the niche I have chosen is a very competitive niche and can be difficult to be successful in. Especially for someone just starting out but I really feel that I can add value for people looking to start out in affiliate marketing.

Then I asked someone who has 10 years experience in online business and internet marketing for their opinion on the niche that I had chosen. Not surprisingly, they discouraged me from continuing any further and basically said it would be a waste of time.

I felt like all my enthusiasm was instantly sucked out of me. I was despondent and didn't work on my business for a whole week.

But the more I thought about it the more sure I was that I did pick the right niche. Online business and affiliate marketing is something that makes me very excited and something that I can easily talk about for hours. As I said, I'm confident that I can add value to this niche.

The thing that I want to share with you is the lesson that I learned from this. Learning this business is like learning any other skill. You're going to fall and you're going to make mistakes, but as long as you don't quit then you will never fail.
