has anyone just updated the most recent version of elementor pro? have you actually done it yourself? how can I do it correctly. is there someplace to find the information tha
If not installed, you can download it off the Elementor site, upload via Plugins, add new in your WordPress site's back office, and activate the plugin. You would need to log in to Elementor from your back office.

elementor is asking for a backup to my site. the site crashes with out doing it. the site automatically updates for me so I need to back it up myself before updating the plugin

We take care of backups for your site but if you're wanting to request a backup for download then we can make one available for you so that you can store your website data.
Just reach out to SiteSupport by creating a ticket and ask for a backup link :)

backups are done automatically daily here by support...
no need to worry if it crashes - jsut open a ticket to support and ask them to restore the last working backup....
Thanks no problem I have done that. waiting on a response. They are great. I have 3 other sites and I thought I could do something myself instead of bothering them every time. When it is restore I still do not n]know how to update elementor
you just go ahead and click on update...
if you click on dashboard>>and then updates...
you will see what needs updating...
i tend to go with plugins, then themes then wordpress...
reason ... if your plugins or themes are not compatible with the new wordpress it can crash your site...
but you don't need to get your site restored unless it goes down...

You can use the move feature within your site manager to move your siterubix subdomain to your dot com when ready. It is a simple process.
You would need to wait up to 30 days (Kyle's recommendation) for 301 redirects to be completed and for the search engines. After that, you MAY delete the subdomain; however, you could keep it longer if hosting space is not an issue or for testing purposes such as themes, plugins, scripts, coding, etc.

How do I duplicate a page and save it as a draft?
You can copy and paste it to Google Docs and save it in the cloud. Or are you asking to duplicate within your WordPress website?
If you wrote in SiteContent, it's already saved as a draft. Suppose you want to duplicate a page. Just copy Control C and Control V (PC) and paste it onto wherever you want to save it. What is your intention for a duplicate page?
