Getting Buried

One thing I know for sure and it seems to be a life long bad habit. Overloading with more task than the amount of hrs in a day can cover. Burrying oneself is not good until your dead. 21What happens then? Every day already has plans of more than I can do then tomorrow’s become more bogged down than today’s.

Not a giant deal unless I don’t edit out some of the things that need to be done and set them back for future days ahead hopefully. Otherwise I end up creating a big mess and nothing gets completed as it should, or as I think it should anyway.

I'm feeling a little better but not quite good enough to get anything done besides the 1st Place in the weeks winnings throwing electronic darts. 168 million at one million put up for each game. I worked my way up from about 450 coins so when I had 2500 I played 2500. games then to 50,000 then to 100,000 - 250,000 - 500,000 then a million up each game. I lost a lot of games.

I guess if there is a point it must be that I'm proud to have done such a silly thing, it was fun and nerve racking too. I use to play the real darts steel tip for a few years and loved it and this is the closest thing to the real deal as I've found. Prefessional Darts Corperation is what they call themselves I guess. PDC...someday soon when I get out from under this monster beating me up....and I thought it was a 2 day thing boy was I mistaken....but then I can get back to the training.

It's funny how I have the ability to throw darts on an ipad but yet I cannot pay attention enough to learn much because the feeling physically from a bad cold takes away any desire to retain any knowledge other than what I may already have. The bad thing about this all is I'm lovin these darts and I know when I get busy there wont be any time for darts. Why? Because there is barely time to eat and shower where could I find time for wasting time?

Thank you for letting me waste a little of yours I do feel a little better ! Goodnight!

I expect burying yourself under more than you can do in the time you have allotted to do it has driven many a person back into their comfort zone.

It is just like losing weight; it took you time to get to where you are uncomfortable with the weight. It is going to take some amount of time to get back to where you are comfortable again.

Let the fact that you are in a hurry make you work everyday. Don't let it make you pile irrational expectations on to every single day.

I used to do the same thing, asking myself why it is I am unable to work harder than I do.

It was not that I was not working hard enough. It was that I was trying to do the work of ten men in the same amount of time allotted to one man. Trying to pack too much into too little time is as much a waste as allowing yourself to do too little in that same amount of time.

As for the darts thing, I have read a number of articles showing how social media and online gaming are physically addictive. They provide a chemical reward in your brain.

Best Regards,

Tim

You are absolutely correct and at 58 you'd think I would have learned by now???? Thank you I appreciate ya!

Hey Benjamin, Hope you feel better soon. I know the feeling of burying yourself and the burnout:) Take it easy.
