Scam is a fact of cyber life. It's been here from the start and probably will accompany us for many years to come. Therefore what can one do to protect himself from this vicious activity? When i'm suspecting a site of spam activity I do the following 1)search for contact info on the sites page,Iv'e noticed that many scam sites don't supply any contact details such as email address,'skype no.,local address such as country, town, street name etc.this for me is red flag one. 2)there is a very good site called scamvoid.com that checks out all the different aspects of each url that you insert in it's search line .you will receive a complete rundown on the specific site such as when it was established ,its geographic location, social interaction, and rankings as to trustworthiness, honesty etc, plus much more. 3)ripoffreport.com if the site has names on it go here place the names and you will get a list of complaints from the past till present days as to these peoples dishonest activity.this of course if complaints were lodged.Frequently you will find out that these people have been involved with many other dishonest behavior.the complaints are written in detail and there is equal opportunity for the accused to defend themselves, therefore if they don't take advantage of this service my suspicion gets reinforced. 4) Proceed to Google insert the product or sight name and add warriors forum .This forum many times will have numerous comments from many different people about the specific program your'e searching for. Finally there's good old intuition or inner feeling if the claims or offers are to hard to believe then just don't! Also Whois.com can be useful as to discovering backgrounds of people mentioned on the specific site . The author doesn't claim to have reviewed all possibilities but as a starter i hope this article will serve to preventing people from being cheated and losing their hard earned money. Having said all of the above I myself always keep in mind that it is very easy to besmirch people, meaning that one should exercise caution before branding somebody as a thief or liar.I have witnessed cases where this unfortunately occurred. Wishing you all success!!
