I thought I would share this to enlight us to what we should be doing to make this community a better place. @Rich responded to a fellow member who's trial was up which I felt had a possitive impact.
Here is the post that was posted on my blog:

Here's a positive postscript to "events". I knew the site of a trial member who witnessed what happened and whose trial was ending that day. I used their contact form to leave them a message. I just received the following email:

"I just can't believe that you took the time to join my homepage in order to wish me good luck. That's something I would have never imagined anyone doing for me. I just wanted to say, that I am truly grateful for your effort of writing to me, and wishing me good luck :-) I truly hope that I some day will be back at WAU, because I have never experienced more kind people than other people on WAU - and people like you."

His experience of the kindness of people on WAU belongs to every Member, well apart from @Apina, @....!

This was my response:

People will always remember a negative or bad experience - It's the Brains way of reminding the body of a bad experience - 'Hey buddy you don't want to venture that road again or you'll get hurt.

We are constantly surrounded by Negatives - the news, gossip, failure etc. - so why are we drawn so easily to these negatives? It's far easier to adapt or accept negatives with little or no effort. People don’t like the pain of struggle.

Take the example of Failure - it's a lot easier to Fail and accept it, than trying to Succeed. People like the attention as well - 'Ah poor Mary, she has had a tough life building websites. Her traffic is as low as a Cul-de-sac with a No Entry sign - don't blame her for giving up and roaming the streets dodging real traffic.

People will try knocking you down as well - 'Why should they succeed if I can't'.
What I'm trying to say is that it takes a lot of Positives to eliminate the Negatives.

Digging for Gold is a huge Risk (huge Negative) but to keep going with determination and self-belief takes a lot of Positives to keep the momentum going.

Exceeding ones expectation will always remind that individual of the Positives, and this is the treasure hidden deep down subconsciously, that will one day unearth, when people seek the hope or the positives they once had. I thank you @Rich because this what you have done - you have buried the treasure in one’s mind and when they look for it they'll come back.

Colin....I saw a great one the other day:

If your dreams don't scare you,

THEY'RE NOT BIG ENOUGH

Face the fear and move forward....with that, I'm taking my little white knuckles back to Session 2 classes....lol

Suz

Hi Suz, thanks for this.

Yes very true - we just don't dream. It stops when we outgrow being a child. Children have amazing imaginations but slowly in life the enforcer of reality prevails and by the time we become fully matured as an adult we are programmed not to dream.

Similar to that quote about facing fear is one by Susan Jeffers, "Feel the Fear and do it Anyway.

Enjoy every bit of training and see you in the Forums - Colin.

Hi Colin. I was originally preserving the trial Member's anonymity, but as Martin has declared himself, here's the postscript to the postscript!

Ignoring my very minor contribution, and sparing my blushes, it's a fantastic endorsement of what you've been saying and of the WAU community in general.

Enjoy!

You are very cool! :)

Hey great post bluedot! Very inspirational! Thank You!

You're Welcome - Thanks

It's very nice to provide positive feedback. Good idea to do that every chance you get. We folks can't get enough love and positive reinforcement. Thanks Colin.

Hey Joan thanks for reading - Colin

I like posts like this. It's the next one after reading Kyle's "bread" post. I'm also currently helping a struggling WA member right now and it really feels great to offer help to other members.

Yes there's no better feeling having lent a helping hand or even words of encouragment. It's so small bit has a very powerful impact as it shows someone that you actually care. I liked Kyles post about the Bread on the road incident as well - Thanks Colin

I really like that Blue... Nice!

Thanks for reading - hope I will see similar posts from yourself - Colin

Great Post, we all need a little encouragement once in a while.
