Here's a positive postscript to "events". I knew the site of a trial member who witnessed what happened and whose trial was ending that day. I used their contact form to leave them a message. I just received the following email:
"I just can't believe that you took the time to join my homepage in order to wish me good luck. That's something I would have never imagined anyone doing for me. I just wanted to say, that I am truly grateful for your effort of writing to me, and wishing me good luck :-) I truly hope that I some day will be back at WAU, because I have never experienced more kind people than other people on WAU - and people like you."
His experience of the kindness of people on WAU belongs to every Member, well apart from @Apina, @....!

People will always remember a negative or bad experience - It's the Brains way of reminding the body of a bad experience - 'Hey buddy you don't want to venture that road again or you'll get hurt.
We are constantly surrounded by Negatives - the news, gossip, failure etc. - so why are we drawn so easily to these negatives? It's far easier to adapt or accept negatives with little or no effort. People don’t like the pain of struggle.
Take the example of Failure - it's a lot easier to Fail and accept it, than trying to Succeed. People like the attention as well - 'Ah poor Mary, she has had a tough life building websites. Her traffic is as low as a Cul-de-sac with a No Entry sign - don't blame her for giving up and roaming the streets dodging real traffic.
People will try knocking you down as well - 'Why should they succeed if I can't'.
What I'm trying to say is that it takes a lot of Positives to eliminate the Negatives.
Digging for Gold is a huge Risk (huge Negative) but to keep going with determination and self-belief takes a lot of Positives to keep the momentum going.
Exceeding ones expectation will always remind that individual of the Positives, and this is the treasure hidden deep down subconsciously, that will one day unearth, when people seek the hope or the positives they once had. I thank you @Rich because this what you have done - you have buried the treasure in one’s mind and when they look for it they'll come back.
