Distractions
As I am going through the training, I have hit some walls. In the lesson where you give feedback on other websites in order to get feedback on your own, there are no websites to review. Also, when I get to the lessons that require writing content, I seem to have writer's block.
In order to keep on track, first I just go to the next lesson and get going again. It makes me feel I am accomplishing things. This eases my mind and helps me get past my writer's block. Overthinking your content can be very distracting. Wondering if you are incorporating key words correctly can also be very distracting. I then go back to previous lessons to cement the knowledge in my brain. It helps me get in the flow of writing again.
Distractions can really throw you off. I have a cat that when I am working on my laptop, she decides she wants to be in my lap - DISTRACTION! My daughter will come in and interrupt me - DISTRACTION! Important things need to be done that take a very long time (ie: filling out government paperwork for my mom) - DISTRACTION AND TIME CONSUMING!
I think everyone here understands these things. I just keep going as much as I can in this program and I know I will get there. It might just take a little longer than I had hoped for.

I work at a desk, and my 2 20lb+ cats like to get between myself and the monitors to stretch out and sleep when I'm here at my desk. I raised my monitors so I can see over them. I write constantly about stuff I must research and learn about in order to pass the information along. If I am writing a book about myself or some fictious story I am making up, I get writers block (maybe). Writing reviews and information post is much simpler when it comes to writers block. I usually have from 2 to 10 tabs open as I read and outline what I'm about to write about. Distractions for me are more from my wife wanting me to get up and do something, or me just not wanting to do it. Like at the moment I am writing this instead of writing the rather long article I have open in the other monitor. The lessons are really a great thing to have to contine to go back to - forever- I guess. The thing about online marketing is that there is actually no place to think you end the learning process.
Thanks for your response and sharing your experiences. It really helps me put things in perspective!
Distractions are a part of life, it may take some time to get going. I'm actually in the same spot you are in and can never find a site to review either, I always have writer's block because I don't like doing it, but I practice here do a quick blog post to feel more comfortable when writing and knock out that writer's block. Good luck and keep checking for different sites to review.
Thanks so much for your comments. It makes me feel better to know I’m not alone. I like your idea of coming here to get me writing again!

Just take your time there is no rush work at your own pace. I would let everyone know that you are working and need your time to do so. That should alleviate the distractions. I hope this helps you out
