My question is once you set up your home title and home description in the all in one seo under the general settings tab, can you change them both after your site has been index

Yes you can change your home title and description. It will take awhile for google to make the change. I would give it a few days.

Ok. Thanks!

I'm writing a page in my blog and I want to use some information from a book as reference. Of course most books have that copyright disclaimer that says "No part of this public

This is a great question as I always wander the same thing. I wander if you can completely paraphrase the material and include a citation of the book or article? I was always taught in undergrad that if you properly cite material that it prevents you from getting in trouble for copyright infringement. I think the new paraphrased material must be completely new literature though. I believe this is a way around it because how else would students be able to support a thesis or idea without credibility? I am not 100% certain though.

Yes, same here. When I was in school I was taught to properly cite your sources. I see other websites where there is a work cited list at the end of the article as well as in text citing but I wonder if they contacted the authors for the sources to seek permission. These two would be what I would do, MLA style, just like writing a research paper. I hate having to go through the motions of doing research to find out I have to get permission. The sources I'm citing are book sources and so getting in contact with the actual author is difficult. I was thinking maybe I should just use internet sources because its probably easier to get in contact with the author being that its a blog.

Hey check out this discussion being held. It has some really good information I think you and I could use. I hope this is more helpful. What I pulled from it all is don't commit plagiarism by using the author or creators exact literature and cite even the new paraphrased material to give the author credit for the idea/content he or she has provided to you. Without further a due here is the discussion: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/authoring-writing-content/what-are-the-rules-for-using-copy-written-materials

Thanks for sharing this discussion. I got out of it the same thing as well.
