I'm trying to insert an affiliate link in a post. I'm supposed to insert it into the HTML code, but I can't figure out how to get to the HTML code.
How to insert a amazon link onto your web page?
I'm trying to insert an affiliate link in a post. I'm supposed to insert it into the HTML code, but I can't figure out how to get to the HTML code.
Hi Diane, I just came across this short video on adding Amazon links to a post. It works great and the furthest I gotten so far with this issue, after weeks of being stuck.
However, I'm not getting a picture of the product just the frame as shown below. I'm trying to insert the Ring Door Bell
I got the same results with another product, so I'm wondering if it could be my theme.
Thanks, any help is appreciated.
Hi - strangely enough, I have been trying to help somebody else with the same problem. We couldn't work it out, so she was going to get in touch with Amazon support. I will see how she has got on and will get back to you.
In her case, what should have been a product link, actually led to a banner, which obviously was some kind of error.
Hi Diane,
Thanks for responding to my question.
I'm thinking of changing my website theme, which could be
the problem.
I tried another product, but had the same problem, unless I need
an additional plugin.

Do you use one general setting or do you have several settings for different size pictures?
For taking pictures I usually use the automatic program on my camera. I find it the most effective timewise. The pictures usually turns out pretty good.
If i am not happy with the pictures, i can alwasy adjust them afterwards on my computer.
I am using 3 differetn cameras. Canon 700D, Olympus Tough-5 and mostly the camera on my iPhone.
I hope this is helping you.
kind regards,

I promote WA all-day talking to people, could I just hand them a card with my WA link to get them to the site?
I wouldn’t see why not but I agree with everyone else. I would make the link look prettier. Maybe you could use pretty links.
reply #2 addendum: the one draw-back that comes to top of mind, the affiliate link is rather long, detailed and a wee bit cumbersome -- all it takes is for one letter or character or space out of synch. and it would be de-railed ... something to think about ... :) ...
Of course you can include your WA Affiliate link on your business card. You may wish to create a Pretty Link that transforms your ugly looking link into a pretty looking one that has meaning. Download the Pretty Link plugin to do this conversion.
Don’t stop talking about WA. Let your card be a reminder.
I wish you much success with this.

hi Dean & welcome to Wealthy Affiliate Premium!
Very interesting question ---
With referrals, you'd want longer-term sustained ones and the best way to achieve that is by going through the Affiliate Bootcamp training with Kyle to obtain the full enchilada, so to speak....
Now, having said that, what you're asking really isn't too different from sending someone your Main Link by, say, email ... to register and to get a chance to check out the platform as a WA free starter and with any luck, perhaps also go WA Premium with you ...
uhm -- you've obviously got a good, innovative mind so go with what works for you as you are the on-line biz owner of your website and to build as you see fit ...
all the best to you for every success, cheerio ... :)
Can I also put my affiliate link on a business card?

Can I link to my WA account with a business card?
Sure, why not? That way you are promoting your blog and you could get referrals or leads for WA or any other affiliate program.
