What is Your Why & Your Passion?

These are two of the most important questions you need to ask yourself;

What is your why?

What is your passion?

If you can’t answer these two simple questions, it may be time for you to reevaluate your life choices.

For example: Why would you continue to go to a job day in and day out if you’re not happy with it? Even if you are happy with it, do you feel like your life is fulfilled after a hard week of work? Or does it feel like week after week you’re living the same experiences?

A lot of people don’t ask themselves these tough questions and continue to “go with the flow”. I used to live like that, believing the only way to succeed is to go through the motions society layed out for us. I’ve realized when you live life with no expectations or ambitions, you aren’t fulfilling your true destiny.

You need to set goals for yourself. Goals propel you forward. Better yet, write down your goals. A written goal is an external representation of your inner desires; it’s a constant reminder of what you need to accomplish.

Setting goals ties back into the two original questions about your “why” and your “passion”. Once you figure out these two things, you will realize writing out your goals will come to you a lot easier. It’s not just about creating a plan for your life and holding yourself accountable, it’s also about giving you the inspiration necessary to aim for things you never thought possible.

Really inspiring post. The truth is that I have lost my Why in my current job a long time ago. That is why I am raising money in order to be able to leave it by summer 2018. I tried quitting my job the previous winter in a rush only to realise that rushing through things would not get me anywhere. Moreover, talking without acting equals to nothing. This time around I will make the same decision but more slowly. No need to rush. Just execute your plan step by step

Thanks for your comment. It's unfortunate that you lost your Why at your current job, but it seems like you are working on that now. I agree that rushing things will only cause more confusion. Taking things step by step and one at a time really lets you focus and master that craft. Keep on keeping on and never let that flame die out.
