Hey everyone

I'm writing this blog to provide an update to my progress.

I started in January of 2017 and set up a website and a blog and began the training courses. Soon after I started writing content for my blog. I have always wanted to write and here I was.........writing. I enjoyed the process of drawing from my own experience in my niche and combining that with information I obtained by doing lots of research.

At one point I decided that I needed to change my website name to have it match better with what my blog was about. I had a much better understanding of what I was doing as I set up a new domain. That is when Beginner Guitarist Keys came to life. Transferring the content from my old site to the new one was very simple in Wordpress. All I had to do was click on a button that said "move" and everything was done for me. I felt much more confident with this new name and I had fun using the word Keys within my content.

I made a conscious decision to spend a lot of time creating content which included reviews. My goal was to get to a point where I felt confident enough to pursue affiliate programs to monetize my site. I approached an affiliate company that offers guitar lessons online, and was accepted. I approached a second company that sells guitars and amps online and was accepted there too. In my reviews and in my content I set up links to these affiliates and I was very satisfied with what I had accomplished.

Currently I am working on ways to get traffic to my site. I tried to set up on Pinterest today, but wouldn't you know it, the site is having problems. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm also working on changing how my site looks. I now have a logo for Beginner Guitarist Keys and I'm going to change the theme in Wordpress that will accommodate these changes.

Finally, I want to acknowledge all of you here at Wealthy Affiliates that offered comments and feedback on my blog. I also appreciate the quick responses to questions I asked when I got stuck on something.
