3 Months In - Traffic Begins
When I was happy with my first site, I thought I could speed up my success with PPC advertising. I had a free coupon with Bing so I used it and the traffic flooded in.
I was enthused by the results but unfortunately it didn't last, eventually my free £75 ran out and suddenly my site was like an abandoned town, no visitors.
My site has existed for 3 months now, I think, and the organic traffic is starting to build up. It's been indexed for a while but clearly the Google Sandbox effect had taken hold, as my site ages, slowly search engines are starting to trust it little by little.
I am slowly but surely rising in the rankings for my keywords.
This has proven to me that it takes time but this whole thing is actually genuine if you're patient enough.
It's evidently going to take quite some time till I can get where I want to be but at least I'm more comfortable in the possibility of this actually happening. To the other newbies out there, be patient and keep working hard.
