Carson's answer for all

Hi Bill,

Your website will continue running until your domain stops being paid for, or you stop paying for your web host. Whether that is here at WA, or elsewhere.

If you wanted to keep your website up and running somehow, then you would want to let someone know of your wishes and how to access the site etc.

Cheers,

Carson

felgue549 Premium Has added some more good information for us

Hi, Bill.-Your question was a good one and Carson's response is exact! Your online business is a valuable asset. It can be given away, sold, willed or otherwise legitimately transferred. Though, precise instructions for such transfer must be arranged by owner and log-in data and operational info given to the transferee. If payment is by PayPal or CCard ...obviously, transferee should update payment to his choice so that the business can be kept going. Clear access to computer files should also be given.

Thank you for the additional information felgue549
