One month in and feeling good!

Hello all from a very grateful young 64 year old rookie!

Where has the last month gone? It seems like only yesterday we (Elaine, my daughter and I) were considering if WA was another scam site. We have looked at so many and yes we have been burned a few times by the overhyped trash that’s all over the internet. I guess we had to go through the pain to find the way to WA.

In hindsight we know realize that our mistake was we were looking to make money, and not looking for the skills to make the money (I am sure you know what I mean).

We have met so many good people who are willing to give us their time to advise us as we work through the immense volume of training and administration; we are learning new stuff every day.

So a big thanks to everyone all for your help with a special mention to Scott, Emma, Terenzia, Mel and Annie your advice and comments are really encouraging, we know we are on track to make a success of our joint venture. Of course the whole concept of WA from Kyle and Carson is brilliant and I join the thousands of members who can’t thank you guys enough for allowing us the privilege to join such a supportive group of people.

So far we have completed the 10 steps of course one, visited various classrooms these are awesome, we are now using Jaaxy and have found the amazing resource of Street Articles. We have also purchased a domain name and built a website (well almost) but we are happy with what we have done so far. The live videos I am sure are excellent, but the time difference has meant we have not attended any of these yet. Now we have got used to communicating with our friends, our rank has changed to 811 (not sure why?). Following some of the more experienced members and reading their blogs has given us a good insight into how they have progressed to high ranking positions. I guess high ranking means these people have successful websites. We are starting our training for the WA affiliate today and look forward with anticipated joy in explaining the benefits to new members or friends who decide to join us.

We feel in time we could maybe also offer help and advice for newbies from our experiences as we have started from the proverbial bottom of this world of affiliate marketing, we know how overwhelming it can be when you start out.

I have not ventured on the online chat yet, but I have followed the conversations with interest. I will be dipping into this medium to wet my toes over the coming days/weeks.

The next stage for us is to complete course two and work in parallel with the boot camp training. Our website will evolve to generate traffic and build an audience, and hopefully eventually produce sales. Our plan is to build a second website by the end of February. Over all we are happy with our progress and know we are building something for our future.

We have decided today to pay for the whole year after all for less than a dollar a day this is the next logical step and confirms our commitment.

One thing that has become deeply gratifying to me is I am now spending quality time with my daughter Elaine, as we work together on our WA business. I think the training could be a bit overwhelming for a rookie like me on my own. So thank you Elaine for keeping me on track and for being so positive about our future. For anyone else considering WA we can highly recommend the many benefits of working as a partnership, sharing ideas and splitting the tasks is fun and satisfying.

Well that’s my thoughts on our first month (I know I am not a writer) I hope I have not bored too many people, but managed to give an honest appraisal of how I feel about the wonderful world of Wealthy Affiliates.
