Another normal day at work?

So I thought! I am the VP of a small pharmaceutical distribution company in the subburbs of Montreal Canada. At the end of the day today, the president of the company who was out on a chase for a brokerage firm to handle our product line throughout the country called me at the office with so much excitement in his voice I had a hard time understanding him!!!!! After a few minutes of letting him vent his excitement, he told me we needed to prepare a broker contract by next Tuesday as they had booked an appointment with a major to get listings for our products for that day..... When I reminded him that I was on vacation next week and leaving town on Sunday... He freeked! Now this was at 3pm...

I told him not to panic and I drew up a contract and delivered the contract by 5:10pm!

But now I realize that my job may become less borring that it has been for the past 3 years!!!!! With this new business venture, I will need to hire more staff, order more goods, be on the road more often.... and God only knows what else! But hey... I am a tough cookie! I can handle it! But I may be a little more absent within WA... I am not going to leave WA but I do have a full time job that pays me a good salary and provides me with the lifestyle I currently have. And I do enjoy most of the work I do there! Although my website realy gives me the drive I like! cooking is my passion!

Because I have bigger dreams, and because I believe I can achieve those dreams, I am here for the long run! My site is getting more and more traffic, I am selling a little more than I was last month, basically, I enjoy the WA community and look forward to more and more successes with WA! Who knows, maybe WA will bring me the opportunity to buy my boss out and run the company myself!

It all goes to show that you don't know what you don't know! Who woulda thought that after 3 years of stagna, bordom and feeling like this was no longer my place, 1 single phone call changed it all! I have been thinking about being happy for the pas 6 months....about wanting more out of life, about feeling good all the time... Guess the universe heard me!!!!! As the saying goes, you become what you think about.... Most of the time!

Now I am off for a week vacation and looking forward for the first time in about 3 years to go back to work! What a great feeling!
