Thanks for the list. Dave

I hate prepackaged stuff! I've been considering starting to make everything from scratch...ketchup included ;-)

Great information. I will usually cook from natural products I have to cut and prepare. I do have lazy days sometimes though and we occasionally eat packaged food.

Hey Jennifer;
go to my budget chef website and read the post, "Thinking outside the box(es)". Please, please avoid packaged foods. You'll see what I mean.

I agree...packaged food is convenient but no good for you!
Thank you for listing all the names. I wondered about erythritol. I bought a baking blend sweetener...Truvia-stevia leaf and sugar blend but from the first taste I didn't like it, reminded me of aspartame so I don't use it. I checked the ingredients and the first one is erythritol.

That's what they use to give the Truvia© its crystalline texture.

Thanks for the great information you provided.

Wow, makes sugar looks like a sweetheart. NOT. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I am definitely staying away from any artificial sweeteners. And only going to use Stevia. Thanks for sharing.

Read the labels - especially on Truvia©.

So, what is the matter with Truvia?

They use the sugar alcohol erythritol as a crystallizing agent.

So, what is the best stevia brand? All the stevia labels on the different brands look about the same to me.

Go to an organics store and ask for PURE stevia. That way the label will show only 1 ingredient - stevia. That's what I do.

OK, thanks. Have a healthy weekend, and have fun as well. :)

That rule of thumb is very good advice, Ian.

Tricky, ain't they, Ian? :)

Too much, I'm telling you.

That's pretty scarry! I'll never eat again!

Eat fresh and local. That keeps most of this stuff away.

Yes, that's good stuff!

Great work, I f I can not say it.I wont eat eat.
Have a great night.
