Can't Put My Affiliate Links on Facebook and Pinterest
Has anyone else been told by Pinterest and Facebook support that they don't allow affiliate links as they are too much like spam? That means that I can't take one of my WA's post pages affiliate links and paste it into my FB or Pinterest posts.
I have taken to copying the post and pasting it into a post on my website, putting in a few affiliate links there and then writing a short blurb in FB and Pinterest directing them to the post via a link that I put into FB and Pinterest. It works fine but is a lot of work.
Plus the fact that because I copied the post from WA it will never get ranked on Google. Which doesn't really matter as I'm just giving the info as value to get them over to WA.
Does anyone have any ideas or have they experienced the same thing?

Beth here. Just found out from ThomasPaul that social media sites FB and Pinterest do not allow affiliate link pastes to their sites anymore. He suggested what I suspected. We need to cut and paste the content of the affiliate site we want to link on SM and paste it to our own websites as a page or post, then tweak it to make it our own and paste that link to FB, Pinterest and (not sure about Google yet) That way the information won't be seen as being spam.
