It's nearly 3 months now since I joined Wealthy Affiliate platform and I have to say I have no regrets whatsoever. However, I have had challenges of my own or rather should I say mistakes of my own making. To date I haven't been able to choose a niche to run with. I find myself promoting all kinds of products not being able to choose a specific niche. This is one mistake that I have made and its not because I was not given appropriate training in that regard, Kyle's training is second to none.

The problem lies with me being spoiled for choice, in essence, I am confused as to which product to promote as a chosen niche and I know that no one can help me with this, I am the one who has to make that call.

I just want to provide some advice to the newbies in affiliate marketing business, to please follow the training and implement the things that you are being taught here at WA. I say this because my failure to choose the niche earlier, has had negative impact on my website particularly the content bit. It means that by the time I finally choose a niche which resonates with me, I will have to re-visit or perhaps re-write my content to suit my niche. I am talking about 7 pages here. Therefore, for those of you who are starting off, please follow the training and listen carefully to what is being taught, I wish I had listened more attentively and applied everything as instructed.

I have Realised that when you promote multiple products you confuse your audience/potential customers and its difficult to build trust. You are better off promoting a specific niche and allow your audience to get used to your product, it is only then that you will gain trust from your targeted population.

Do I regret this? Yes and No. Yes because I may have lost many potential customers by not providing a clear niche and No because despite all the confusion I have managed to achieve 9 sales and thousands of clicks on my links so far .

Please! Please! Please! choose your niche carefully and choose it exactly as instructed on the training videos. That way you stand a chance of gaining trust from your targeted population and make sales in the process.

Above all, I am excited about being part of WA, prior to joining this platform, I spent lots of money in search of knowledge on how to run an online business. In all the summits and courses I attended nothing compares to what I have learnt and achieved from this platform. I remember approaching one of the "online affiliate marketing guru" for mentorship, his response to my request was, Bernard that shouldn't a problem but it will cost you a mere £30,000.00 to spend one day with me. As you would just imagine, at that point I was speechless. Before I could open my mouth to try and negotiate the cost, he quickly said and its not negotiable. I was flabbergasted.

The key word for me in all our conversation with the guru was the word "affiliate" it was from that conversation that I started researching on online affiliate marketing business. That is how I eventually stumbled on WA affiliate platform and I am glad I did.

I am saying this to say this, online marketing business is massive and it can only get better. If you are still a doubting Thomas, just continue with the training, you will eventually get a grip of the concept and WA is the best platform to develop your skills for the world out there.
