May was birthday month-June is wedding month

We got through May. My husband had a wonderful and surprise 85th birthday. Our son's birthday was on the 14th and my birthday is today! Our wedding anniversary is June 5th. Married 42 years!! Boy, how time flies!!

Now with June 1st tomorrow, I am planning my June activities to keep my website chugging along. I started my site exactly 5 months ago. June will be my 6th month! I have accomplished so much. But I have tons more to do. My plan for this month is to continue to write. I have so many articles in draft, and I need to start clearing them out. My problem is I constantly come up with more ideas for articles before I can even finish the last ones! I know, it is a nice problem to have!!

Five months in and I have: my full website up and running, 75+ articles and at least 10 more in draft, my menu is set up and working really well, I am gaining traffic everyday, my impressions went from 500 three weeks ago to almost 1,400 today!! I have had 77 clicks on products, but no sales yet. I had large ticket items on there. I went back and added about 20 other products in the $30 - $100 range, tied to suggestions in my articles. I have a lot of pillar articles with many internal links to similar articles, I have added some pictures, although I could use more. I have checked every single affiliate link and they all work. I had one that was not working, and it took several hours to fix it! Women are spending anywhere from 20 seconds to 10 minutes on my pages. My engagement rates range from 66% to 100%. 6 out of 10 are at 100%. My site speed is overall pretty good. I still do not understand this?

As for June, my goal is to increase my articles to 100. I need to apply to other affiliates. Right now I only have Amazon. I have laid out a weekly schedule on what articles to complete and when. I will continue to tweak things that need it. I am also jumping into Pinterest. I learned a lot from AI on that topic last night. Now I understand it better, and we came up with a specific angle for my niche. I am excited to see where that goes. However, my main focus will remain on writing informative articles, telling stories and finding pictures. I will also keep improving on I ternal links, external links and affiliate links. I will only spend a couple of hours a week on Pinterest. I intend to keep my 80 hours per month on my website, so I will probably add 2 or 3 hours per week for Pinterest. Everything else in my life is pretty much on hold for the time being. I am really happy with where I am and how far I have come in only 5 months. It has not been easy at times, but I have a bulldog attitude! I refuse to let go! Actually, I am really enjoying writing now, and actually having fun. I look forward to getting to it everyday. My one goal this month is to try and get a sale! Everything else seems to be working. I just need to keep building trust and I am sure it will happen. So there you have my June agenda.
