Things to Accomplish in May

Today is May 8th, and I just realized I did not list my goals for May. May is always a very busy month for me. My husband and I met 48 years ago on Cinco de Mayo in the Tulsa airport. Mothers Day comes next, then our son's birthday on May 14th, my husbands birthday on May 23rd, my birthday on May 31st. I make hand made cards for all. My husband will be 85, so I am making several special cards for him. These usually take all my time, but I have managed to work on my website every single day. I am logging 3 or 4 hours everyday. So now for what I have accomplished. I spent hours working on SEO. I had 61 articles. Out of those, 35 were all green. I had some red, many yellow and some gray. Working with my trusty friend, Gemini, we managed to turn everything to green! I did not even know that was possible. I have written 10 more articles, all still in draft. I plan to work on all of those this weekend, and hopefully get them all published. I have researched affiliate programs I want to join, and have picked the top 3. I accidentally applied for Amazon Affiliates today?! I am going to wait to apply for the others until I have several articles covering their products. I am working on some of those now. I have been working in Canva to design pins, although I have at least another 100 to do. That is on my list for the month of May. I reworked my home page. I did not know I even needed one, but Gemini said I did. So we designed one and it was o.k. out of the gate. But I was not happy with it. So I changed some things. I still have some tweaking to do, so I will be working on that this month.

Other things I am working on is an email list and a freebie. Again, I had no idea how to do it, but I feel confident that Gemini will assist me. I also need to spend time finding photographs to put on my site. I will have to re-photograph them and re-size them. Another project for May. And last but not least, I will continue to write 3 articles per week. I am not going to start Pinterest until I get all my pins done, then I can schedule them out. As those go out scheduled, it will give me time to stay on top of all the new pins as articles are pumped out! So that plan has been moved to June. I think that is all I've done so far. However, I have a lot of work cut out for me for the rest of the month. Also, things pop up that I had not planned on. So things could change, but for now, that is the plan.
