Spider webs and business?

Hi WA Family,

I just wanted to share a few thoughts with you. After reviewing many of the threads here, I decided to put in my 2 cents worth! I was trying to think of something that would relate, and I happened to think about spiders and their webs. Have you ever watched a spider weave a web? I have. I was so intriqued that I watched for over an hour! If you look at the web above, you will see that there are many "mistakes" in the weaving. But the spider does not worry about that! Their goal is to create a web that will trap food for them, whether it be a fly or some other flying insect. If you were to touch the web, it feels slightly sticky. Again, this is on purpose and for catching food. Also, it takes a spider many hours to spin just one web. Once they start, they continue on until it is finished! Also, did you know that if you destroy the web of a spider, they will move somewhere else and start over, building a new web! They have no idea how long it takes them to build a web. Their only objective is to trap food by building a web. Without a web to trap food, they will not survive. BUILDING THEIR WEB is their ONLY GOAL!! Have you ever seen a spider give up? Only if they are already half dead maybe? Spiders are very determined, and no matter what life throws at them, they know they have to build a web! They do not let a few mistakes in design sidetrack them.

My point here is to learn from the spider. They have only one objective in life, and that is to provide food by building a web. They are extremely tenacious and they will do whatever it takes. So all of us here at Wealthy Affiliate could learn a lot from watching a spider! We are here for one objective, and one objective only.(I know, some will disagree with me!) That is to build an online business that will support us in the coming weeks, months and years. If we look at it from the spider's standpoint, there is only one thing to do! KEEP BUILDING!! NEVER GIVE UP!! We will make mistakes, but we must not let that distract or discourage us. So get out there and build YOUR web! (on the web!)
