Writing quality page or post is very important in creating a successful online business. One of the keys to this is "readability."

In our trainings, readability is emphasized over and over to ensure that we consider the elements necessary in writing great contents.
I reviewed the training on the topic and the criteria are the same for both the experts and the newbies. I need to remind myself as well that in order to write a beautifully readable content, I have to bear in mind the following:
Criterion #1. Keep the paragraphs short.
Going through web pages, readers don't bother reading way too long, boring paragraphs. They will just scan through and leave the page. You can always chop the paragraphs down into short ones that are pleasant to the eyes.
Criterion #2. Use headings to organize your topics.
Headings can be compared to captions to your paragraphs that will give the readers an idea of what to expect in the succeeding section. These will keep your page or post in an organized structure.

In most cases, readers will scan the page first. Giving your paragraphs captivating headings will make them want to read what's in store for them.
Criterion #3. Write in conversational language.
The purpose of your business is to gain traffic. In other words, you want to make conversions out of your website visitors. Hence, you should be able to help your visitors find their needs by making them easily understand what you have to offer them. It is simply engaging in a conversation with them in person using everyday language.
Criterion #4. Create alluring titles.
At first glance, you should be able to attract visitors via the title of your page or post. You can either make it or break it in the first ten seconds of your visitors' clicks. So, play with words. Probably make some rhymes that will give your title a ring to it!
Criterion #5. Make use of relevant image.
I have noticed that many articles are filled with images that has nothing to do with the content. They are placed simply to fill up space or probably for the sake of having images. It is important that you insert images appropriate and applicable to the topic you are writing about.
Criterion #6. The proper choice of text and background.
This may seem very elementary. But keeping your content in black (or dark shades of grey) and white will definitely not strain the eyes. Many readers just leave a website because it is hard for them to read the content. So, make it plain and simple for readers to linger and love reading your writing piece.
Happy writing y'all!
Cheers,
Betcha
