I Have Been Google Indexed, BUT.
I Have Been Google Indexed, BUT...
So I see my badge, I have been Google Indexed, and I am as excited as a little kid at the fairground. I go on google and search for my site, but it is way down the list... what to do... CONTENT I remember them saying in training.
CONTENT, that's easy... 200 Crappy words a day, right, that's what I said in my previous post. Easy, I sit down and start writing, then it hit me, "I am writing a blog, about a Niche I chose, That cannot possibly compete with bigger sites."
That's Easy to fix, add some content about other things that can be related to grow the reader base right, OOPS!!! I chose my Domain name too precisely.
But, do I give up, NO! I go and buy a new, broader domain that is still applicable, I message Kyle, asking him if moving my website would be a good idea... His Advice gave me clarity on the situation, and that I should move my domain earlier, rather than later. He did also tell me that there are thousands of things to write about a niche, so make sure before you follow my route.
Lessons Learned?
1. Think before you pick your domain name and your Niche, if you want to go into a review market, dont block yourself by limiting your domain name.
2. I wasted money, but bought a lesson. Investing in your future is never a waste... Remember that.
3. Dont stop when the going gets tough, make a plan and find a solution.
4. Ask if you need advice. Kyle is available to help and so is the community. Trust them.
And the most important,
5. Admit you were wrong, made a mistake and begin fixing it as soon as possible.
In Conclusion:
We are a community that need to learn from each other's mistakes. Don't be scared of the process and making mistakes, we make mistakes and post about it so others won't.
Kind Regards
Bert
