So Much in a Limited Time

I determined to go through every lesson on WA without any distraction from my daily life when I went premium. Well I have only been a premium member just about a week. I started out well on the lessons, doing everything step by step and then I got to where I had to choose a niche. I thought it was going to be as easy as picking up my toothbrush and brushing my teeth...but little did I know it was going to be my first challenge here on WA. Here I was, staring at the giant wall of choosing a niche.

I decided to reach out to the community and get a response as soon as possible because I wanted to progress on the lessons faster and get my first website up and running. I must say that the community is such a great platform whenever anyone needs any help. I got great responses from the community and headed out to read some blogs on choosing a niche. I finished reading several blogs on niche and then I reached out to Chris Scott aka TeddyBear.

Chris willingly agreed to walk me through the challenge of choosing a niche and overcoming several other challenges that I might have possibly encountered or will encounter...so we set out on our journey. And in a very limited time we achieved so much. In that limited time which was just an hour we did the following:

• We reviewed several websites and discussed all elements of a website
• We discussed me (Benkyi), my passion and what I intend to achieve
• We explored my knowledge bank and interests...Now, I must say at this point of the discussion I had a clear idea of what was going to be my NICHE
• We discussed different niches based on what we had discovered
• Then Chris helped me decide on a niche. At this point I was overwhelmed with an inner joy because I had finally jumped the hurdle and conquered the challenge of choosing a niche
• We picked a couple of domains
• We made sure the domains were short, had no "-" within, and ended with a "dot com"
• We built the domain on siterubix
• We picked a theme and then published my first website

Interestingly all these were done in a limited time of just one hour...isn't that just great!
At the end of the session I got myself a drink to just enjoy the moment because I was so happy to have done and achieved so much in just a short time.

It's good to have someone guide you, it's good to reach out to people and let them help you whenever you face any challenge here on WA and at large, in life.
