Hello everyone at Wealthy Affiliate!

I am here today to give an update on my progress. So far I have created my website theretailguide.com and I am really happy with how it is coming along! I still have some kinks to work out with the theme and design, but I really like how all of my content is coming together. I am surprised at how much I have to say!

I am definitely proud of my website. I have always wondered how to create and even make revenue off a website, so it is pretty mind-blowing to see where I am today, making a website of my own.

In the next three months, I am hoping to get my website full to the brim with quality content and images as well. One obstacle I have been dealing with is abiding by copyright laws with images in content. Originally, my website was going to focus on retail deals with gap and old navy and I was going to have all of this great gap imagery, etc. After learning more about royalty-free images and trademarks and all of that I realized that I can't really say too much about gap and old navy unless I am an affiliate. Luckily, they have an affiliate program, so one of my main goals is to get my website up and running with enough regular traffic to get my application approved to be a GAP affiliate!

In the next six months, I would like to have my website advancing even more with more great content, imagery, and possibly even video. As I mentioned in my profile, I am an actor as well which is my passion. I feel like this website and my passion for acting could really work well together, so I am so thankful to be here at WA making it happen. I am hoping that in the upcoming 6 months I will be booking larger acting roles with the added flexibility I'll have from owning my own small online business.
