6000 clicks and no conversion!
Ok, so if you have been keeping up with my blogs - I stepped away a season ago (gone for the past year) with a lot of life changes going on (new job, new home, new baby, new state). So, I left everything online alone and literally didn't post or build anything for a year!!!
So, over the past 5 months I have been learning and building my knowledge on some other niche building products - but it all brought me all back here to Wealthy Affiliate. A place with community, relationships, education and proven resources. The fact is that I want to tell everyone I know about WA...
BUT - let me tell you how amazing this place is!!!! I built my WA site and launched it right before I quit. Yesterday I went to that site to see how it was doing after a YEAR of leaving it alone - literally doing nothing.
My post on WA has had over 6000 clicks to view!!!
So what is so horrible???
I didn't have a single link to send them for referral!!!
PLEASE - Listen to this warning - it works - but do the WHOLE work. If I had a 4% conversion rate @ 6000 clicks, I would be sitting here with 240 people experiencing the community we have here!
So - moral of the story - do your homework (and don't skip the parts you don't like)!

Ouch! But don't look back - only look forward! You make the decisions for what is going on when you make it. Look at it this way - you've done most of the hard work so now it's the harvest! Blessings to you!
That's encouraging Ben, at least you know that your website is being found! And yes, it's very easy to miss the important bits and the bits we don't like, but there is a cost to pay!
