Nice site! You have a lot of good ideas there. I like the Stag levels for the reviews.
Hey man, thanks! Anything you can to make it user friendly right? :)
You a traveler?
You're welcome! Yes, I'm a traveler, too. I have a van (that I'm trying to get running reliably) for adventuring in North America. I've taken a few road trips so far in a mini SUV, but it is way cramped and limited. I saw lots of other people adventuring in vans all over the USA, so I figured Wealthy Affiliate was the best way to earn income while I travel
WOWOW!
So cool, i'm from this island called Cyprus where I've had my own experiences (http://how-to-wander.com/island-of-cyprus)but a rode trip in Cyprus literally last 5 hours max. 10 hours including driving home. It takes around 5 hours to drive from one side of the island to the other. My mum is from the states and whenever i talk about going there and try to discuss lengths of time she just laughs at me because i'm under this assumption that i can drive to one state and still be back for dinner! :D i know i know, i know better now.
I'd love to check out your site a bit and follow you on some social media if you've got it for your site. Where has your latest rode trip taken you? I'm not to fond of just following anyone because, even though everyone is great, i just don't have an interest in... security cameras... or parenting... or whatever someone else's niche is. So yea here's mine if you feel the same https://plus.google.com/u/1/102289823278190697512.
I'm familiar with Cyprus and some of its history, although I've never been there. I hear it is beautiful! Yeah, there are several states in the US where a 5-hour road trip wouldn't even get you out of the state! I'm from the east coast, where the states are smaller. A couple months ago, I drove my little underpowered Honda Element from Baltimore (near DC) to San Diego California and back (3,000 miles each way)(almost 5,000 km). This was the first time I saw the Pacific Ocean! I hit a lot of cool spots along the way. I took a lot of pics, but in retrospect, not enough. In future trips, I'll take video, too.
LOL, I know what you mean about following some of the niches. In previous IM courses I've taken, they talked about "Evergreen Niches", which tend to be painful and embarrassing diseases and ailments! Not fun to read about or write about!
I still have a few things to do to the site, and I need to set up the google plus. I'll do that today, and then send you the info. I'm interested in following what you are doing as well.
oh man, sounds like you gotta lot of stories to tell :)
Best of luck, i'm here if i can help
So things were going slower than I expected. I'm now following your G+ as Sprinterventurer. I still have lots of content to write on my site. But at least I have a G+ now.
hey man good to hear, progress of any kind is still progress... I guess.
I'm more of a sprinter rather than a cross country runner, i'll assume by your name that you are too :), but it's gonna take time especially so you can do it right. Nothing worse than writing a full post or page just to realize you messed up somewhere then having to redo it
I'll follow you back as soon as i'm on my 'website time' :)
ah, somehow I missed this comment. The Sprinterventurer name originally is more due to the van I have, but I also considered that I am more of a short-distance runner (800m - 1mile - 5K) finding myself signing up for Ultra-length races (50K and longer). The blog might occasionally cover the races I do but my intention is more of the trip and camping and adventure (and don't forget gear reviews!) aspect rather than the actual running part. Plus so my friends and family who aren't on social media can follow along and see my pictures.
