Black Friday '22.I like the Crown????
I have 2 websites...15 blog posts...just had my 1st affiliate sale last month...oh and I joined in 2019. So can't say that I'm exactly killing it (at all). But that one sale at least tells me that I might be on the right path.
I get easily overwhelmed and WA has A LOT to offer, which is why I don't come on here too often. It's too easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole of consuming and not creating.
However, it's also better to have it when you need it vs not having it at all. And WA essentially has everything...ALL of the great classes, courses, and tools an online entrepreneur needs to succeed.
GoalsI was going to completely quit, but Carson made some pretty good points. I need to at least give this my full effort and energy before completely calling it quits.
I'm a checklist kinda gal, so here are some broad goals that I want to accomplish this time around.
✅ Write A LOT more...even if it sucks: I'd love to write every day, but I'm hoping at least every week.
✅ Learn and implement FAST: I love learning new things. Learning is great, but I gotta work on quick implementation. No point in learning something and never using it.
✅ Stay focused: Confession time, I have shiny objects and imposter syndrome.
I'm sure my friends and family are tired of me whining about having no skills. I just never feel ready enough to claim the skills I have...so I ended up looking for new skills I can try to learn, which usually leads to a new course or product purchase. (Right now it's SQL and SQL Server).
I need to stay focused long enough to crush this affiliate marketing dream I've had for so long. I've already put a lot of money into this...now I gotta put in the time and focused effort.
✅ Get Feedback: I was just telling a friend that I'm not good at taking criticism. But that's completely true...I'm not good at taking empty criticism that has no mention of how I can improve. Like someone saying "Your writing sucks"... I don't know what to do with that.
Is it me or them that has the problem? And how can I get better? Or what didn't they like?
You see what I mean...
But I really like constructive criticism, because I can take it and apply it. However, everyone is not going to be helpful, so I need to work on building tough skin and asking for feedback.
Where I'm Starting From
The Bottom, LOL
Well not completely, like I said I have 2 websites, some blog posts, and just recently made a $500 affiliate sale. So I know I have an affiliate product that pays out nicely, now I need to create more content and help more people find this awesome product and others like it.
I'm believing "Black Friday" 2022-2023 will be better!

Hi, this sounds exactly like what I went through in 2019. Shiny object syndrome made me go down the rabbit hole. I left my site abandoned for two years. I did nothing. It was terrible. I am glad you have learned these lessons. I am grateful now that I have upgraded to P Plus, I can gain more training and continue to upscale my businesses. I know the feeling about constructive criticism and that you're never getting ahead while others are ahead of you. That thinking put me in that hole for a while. It was a struggle to get out of it. I am glad you made some affiliate sales. Congratulations.
Yes, definitely lessons learned! Onward and upward☺️
