I've had different versions of my website for the last 12+ years. I created the first one when I started publishing novels and needed an online presence. It was static and I received very little traffic. I installed WordPress and saw an uptick in traffic, but I found I didn't have time to nurture my site. I am passionate about God, my family, and writing fiction--in that order. I started out publishing a children's picture book in 2003 and followed that with several children's articles and stories for print and online magazines. I've been thinking about blogging for profit for a long time. Back in the day, when I published my first novel, everyone said it was important to blog. I didn't even know what a blog was, but I knew I needed one because everyone said I did. So I created a blog over on Blogger. I didn't monetize it, because I had no idea how to do so. I've always loved to write. Back in 2003, I published a children's picture book. I then published some novels with a small publisher before going indie and creating my own publishing imprint. I have since published several sweet romance novels and novellas. I love writing books, but I don't write them very fast. Because I do have ten kids and eight grandkids, I don't have a lot of extra time on my hands and novels take me a long time to write. I know authors who can produce a book in a month, b
