Ideas to help with creating your domain name
So I made my first mistake here on WA. I created a domain with hyphens, which at first may seem ok, as you can get the words you want in a .com but its hard to speak and harder for people to remember, it also means there is a website with those exact words but without the hyphens.
Finding a brandable domain with a .com can be tricky so here a few tips, from someone who has done A LOT of searching.
Step One: First right down a list of words that relate to your niche, remember they don't have to be keywords. If you only have a few thats fine
For example my niche was organic vegan make-up.
So I came up with words like: Natural, all natural, organic, vegan, cosmetics, pure, love, earth, etc
Step Two: Write down a few versions of your desired domain name, using the words you wrote down.
For example: Allnaturalcosmetics, pureorganics, earthorganics, naturalcosmetics,
Step Three: Open your WA domain search page, as well as http://www.wordhippo.com and bounce between the two sites. Wordhippo is a free database that searches for words that are similar, rhymes with or opposite of the word you type in.
Try and mix n match your words in the domain search, even if you don't LOVE it and it's a .com or .org just put it in your cart as you can always discard later. I found I kept refering to them as they would help give my ideas for other words to type into wordhippo and other word combinations
It all helps get the creative juices flowing and I found I bounced from one idea to the next until I settled on my domain.
