Cultivate love for the process

I am sure we all find Kyle's success story (and many others) an inspiration to continue the journey in building our online business. It may be easier to fall off the wagon at any given point along the process, as it is our own duty to take responsibility of our time, our effort and our work. No one is really watching over our shoulder to see whether we completed the tasks that day, or not. The one thing I like to keep in mind, which Kyle has reiterated on multiple occasions, is that everyone who is the best in their field was once a beginner, and was once one of the worst in their field.

I understand it may get tough to be discipline in setting aside time or following through with next steps. This time, I am the one guilty of getting behind, I took off a few weeks, not because I lost interest. I love the chosen niche and I'm looking forward to keep on growing my online business. Perhaps, I am losing focus on what is the very next thing (no matter how big or small) I have to work on. Or because I am pretty satisfied of how far I've come along in my website and content, although, there is still work left to do! As many, I am in love about the whole idea of an online business, but when it comes down to the process, things can get tricky. This is why we must fall in love with the process itself, which can be cultivated over time.

So how can we cultivate love for the process without giving up? Firstly, you can't really be passionate about the work until you are pretty good at it, so don't sweat the small stuff, it is all small stuff. After finding what you want to do, learning how to do it, repeat the process until you get good to achieve what you want. Over time, things will evolve, you'll want different things, because it is human nature. It is ok to be ambitious but out of the right reasons. Instead of being driven for the rewards, like money or status, become hungry for knowledge, curiosity and creation. Be driven for contribution, for work and for improvement. The rewards are just a side-effect of that mindset. The rewards come naturally when you focus on the work.
