Happy Friday everyone! Today I am writing about my first experiences with checking affiliate programs. Since my niche is organic skin care, the challenge was finding the right programs that had the best commissions.
What I discovered is that the commissions ranged from 1% to 20%. There is a wide range of products and websites to pick from. I had the best experience with Linkshare. They had the most variety in the beauty industry. I applied for quite a few only because I want to check out the websites and products to make sure they are a good fit for my customer base.
Go ahead and sign up for multiple programs. Don't worry about including all of them on your website. You can be selective. Some products you may include in articles, and some page links you may consider using social media or Email advertising to link to your affiliate product sites.

I also recommend once you have a website established,take advantage of social media. You can add a link to pinterest and consider setting up a Facebook page. By building relationships, you build customers.
