Happy TGIF!!!
It's Friday. My computer has finished updating FINALLY! I'm getting into the "meat" of building the website and that is "content". I found doing the searches on Jaaxy very helpful in creating key phrases in my blogs and or articles for keeping the tone of the article consistent with the goals of what I am trying to accomplish. If you are feeling stuck or are not sure of your writing ability, start with key word searches. Begin your article or blog as if you were in the middle of a conversation, perhaps with a good friend. Don't worry about perfection, just write the first thing you think of about your subject. You can always go back and change it later. Here are some easy steps to get your "creative juices" flowing.
1. Think of what you write like a conversation.
2. Avoid "self editing" or editing as you write. Get it all down.
3 .Anything is fixable.
4. Put yourself in the customer's place. If YOU were the customer, what would be of value to you.
5. Have fun. If you show your personality and be engaging, the reader will be engaged as well.

Great post! Good to see some format to writing articles. And yes, probably one of the most important thing is to write TO someone, not just to the page or screen.
I find that if I have a picture of someone in my mind, I will write the article to THEM, addressing their needs and requirements. Makes it more personal and not just a general piece of writing.
