Affiliate marketing has gotten a bad name over the last few years. Mainly because of people that had no clue what they were doing and just spammed people's email accounts and used many black hat tactics.

The truth is that affiliate marketing is alive and well.

Wal-Mart is an affiliate marketer if you think about it. They market other peoples product and make a profit from the sale. Of coarse they are now able to charge people slot fees but so can anybody in the affiliate marketing space, with the right business model.

The point is here that every store that sells someone Else's product is involved in affiliate marketing. We should all take a lot of pride in what we do.

There is no better paying gig in the world than a good sales person, and that is a fact.

A person should be ethical in their business and only promote products that they believe in, as well as not misrepresent those product.

Though there are many problems in this industry, there are also many good things that come from it.

Let us all take a vow and create successful and ethical businesses.
