Destination

What is yours? Have you really thought about it? In the end you want to be happy and full of life or that’s what I suspect for everyone. After reading this take a moment and think about the end, what will make you happy?

I would say that working for yourself is probably the biggest thing or at least near the top, but you need more than that. Working for your self has many more things to concern yourself than punching a clock. You are responsible for everything; your own income and taxes (business and personal), your own insurance, your own hours (and there are a lot more, mostly unpaid at the beginning) and the motivation that goes with them, and let’s not forget your own vacation. Who’s going to pay for that? There are a myriad of other things, but let’s just stick to the above.

Right now people are reading this and possibly saying that they can’t do this, it is too much. It is a lot, but think about it this way; when you started the job you are in or the last job, didn’t you have to learn how to do it? All the intricacies associated with the details of what you were responsible for? What makes this any different? Simple as that, so now that that is behind us let’s get toward our destination.

Look at the final destination of where you want to be. Now start looking backwards of how you got there. This will take some thinking about this. You will discover many different ways, but you will find a particular way that just seems to fit you and your lifestyle. By doing this you could eliminate many of the potential problems that you may have encountered if you would have just started down the path with no clear goal.
