From overwhelmed beginner to Google-Indexed Success: My Wealthy Affiliate Journey
My website got indexed by Google today! As a beginner in Wealthy Affiliate, I often feel overwhelmed, but the training makes it easier. I take one baby step at a time, learning constantly. Sometimes I repeat lessons to fully understand them. I've made mistakes, maybe up to ten so far, but I keep pushing and completing each lesson. Currently, I'm on Lesson 4 Part 2—not quite halfway yet.
Reaching this milestone, I learned that Google found my site, read its content, and added it to its giant database. This means my site can show up in Google's search results, making it easier for people to find when they search for related topics.
Here's what I discovered about the process:
- Finding Your Site: Google's bots (crawlers) visit and read my site's pages.
- Indexing: Google decides what the pages are about and adds them to its big list of websites.
- Ranking: When someone searches on Google, it uses this list to show the most relevant websites in the search results.
Getting indexed by Google is crucial because it helps people discover your website through searches, bringing more visitors to your site.
With determination and the Wealthy Affiliate community's support, I'm turning every challenge into a steppingstone toward success.
