Is Wealthy Affiliate worth the price?
So it has been about a week, I have first joined Wealthy Affiliate and few days since I have migrated from free to premium membership. One of the main reason I decided to migrate to Wealthy Affilaite is its unbeatable pricing. Seriously you have heard it.
- It's cheaper than a pizza.
- It costs less than a dollar per day
But still, is Wealthy Affiliate worth paying less than a dollar per day?
Lets say if you had to use Wealthy Affiliate. How much would you have paid just for running a website? Lets do the analysis based on one of the popular hosting provider / domain registar. Not to blacklash against namecheap. I still use some of their product. But this post is for comparison of the cost against Wealthy Affiliate.
If you host your domain on namecheap.
- 25 Managed Wordpress Hosting for 500K visitors: $49.88 * 25 = $1247 Per Year
- 25 SSL certificate (cheapest one I can find) = $7.88 * 25 = $197/yr
Please note that you won't be able to use free Enter your own correction... certification from letsencrypt because they don't provide direct shell access so you will have to buy one from namecheap if you are using their managed hosting.
- 25 private email hosting (cheapest): $9.88 * 25 = $247/yr
I don't know about you, but I prefer to keep separate email per website.
Total Yearly Cost of hosting 25 websites in namecheap: $1247 + $197 + $247 = $1691 /yr
If you host your domain on Wealthy Affiliate
25 Managed Hosting for 500K Visitors: $359/yr
SSL certificate = 0
Private emails = 0
Total Yearly Cost of hosting 25 websites in namecheap: $359 + 0 + 0 = $359 /yr
Hosting the website alone makes wealthy affiliate worth the money. Obviously hosting price comes to sense when you host many websites. Normally as you progress you will be working on a lot niches and you might need to host many websites.
Plus Wealthy Affiliate is more than a hosting company. It is not a website builder, rather it is a business builder. There is one important tool called jaaxy. You get jaaxy lite package for free if you are a premium member.
I am not sure how to quantify the community support + kyle personal support + training + live chat. But definately worth more than $1500/yr in my opinion. (Its something I would have paid personally).
Check out the post from nathan https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/nathaniell/blog/is-wealthy-affiliate-worth-the-money where he compares, Wealthy Affiliate pricing to other things that people pay to learn..
Conclusion.
Yes Wealthy Affiliate is definately worth the price.

Well said! The value we get from WA is way more than what you get from other platforms like namecheap. Because it's hosting and training. And this last one has been valued elsewhere in thousands of dollars.
Welcome to WA and I wish you success!
Thank you Nadia for your wishes.
By the way. do you have link to the article that quantifies the non hosting part of WA? That would be awesome :)
Unfortunately I don't have it. I think you can try to enter that in the search bar and if it's available within WA, it should come up.

Good post but your English context is off a bit, no harsh criticism intended here, but you need to run it through a grammatical checker as well and look for when a word should be plural etc.
I'm saying this because you will need to learn to blog and for that you must improve your grammatical presentation, however don't be put off. This is not a 'put down' but a 'helping hand up!'
I realise that English is not your first language, but that said, you are really doing well - much better than me, as English is my ONLY language. LOL.
Well done and very good content, it makes sense, your calculations are spot on, and if I were reading this as a potential customer then I would buy from you based on what you have put forward.
In other words you would have got my money!
Hope this helps.

Thank you Lisa very much for your constructive feedback. I really appreciate it. Most of english, I have learned is from watching movies so yup there is still lot to cover :P .
After your feedback, I ran the grammar tool and have fixed some contents as you suggested. For example made `website` to `websites`, added some comma where I think is necessary, fixed some spellings.
Thanks Again,
You are most welcome. glad it was of help.
