UPDATE: Thanks to RICH and some other research I've done, I just wanted to warn you to be careful with foter.com, photopin.com, and anything that is going to link you to flickr.
Thanks for sharing what you found, if you type "images" in the search bar there is some info
(example:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-find-add-images-to-your-website
but always good to have more ... :-)
Thanks for the info. I mostly use my own media but I will need to find some images on the web for my new site, as it won't be as easy to produce pictures and such.

Thanks, very interesting point about Flickr. I do have a question regarding NC (Non-Commercial) Creative Commons License and affiliate sites, which I'm not sure whether they would violate that license by linking to a merchant site and getting commission from the conversions made.

I was struggling with is as well and spent hours trying to find images only in the public domain. What a waste of time! If you want to see how I'm doing it, I just put up a blog last night - http://backpainbooksandmore.com/is-heat-or-ice-better-for-back-pain.
I had the same question but I noticed that some of the authors specify. Otherwise, just link to the author, however you can. Look at the way I do it at dailylawofattraction.com
Hi Sofya.
It is a minefield using images you think may be free.
I would recommend you have a look at Beverley's post here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/where-to-find-images-for-your-website - she keeps this up to date with reviews and links to paid for, and free image sites.
Cheers, Mark
According to the site's own rules (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Reusing_content_outside_Wikimedia) usage rights do vary. Some content is free to use however and other content must include attribution.
You'll have to check the images that you used and see what rights come with them. Hope this helps.
