I decided to check Jaaxy to see if the site had been ranked and sure enough there it was:Google 3, Bing 1, Yahoo 1. My series on The animal-human bond was moving forward. How nice.
I know, it would have been more exciting if the site rank was all one's but to be number 3 on Google is pretty good in my book. Who knew Donkeys would rank. The little guys with big ears and a funny "Bray" came through.

As we all know, ranking in Google depends on a lot of things, but how many are writing about the same thing will have an influence on ranking as well. If everybody is writing about animals it's harder to be noticed. All this to say that niche is extremely important as well as content.
So, research, research, research, and then write, write, write.

By the way, the animal in the picture above is really a Mule----a cross between a donkey and a horse.
