Hey all of you wonderful people! The other day I was browsing YouTube while eating, and I stumbled across a video by a man called Dan Lok (skip to 1 minute in). I am sure you a lot of you know of him, if not google his name. Holy cow talk about an entrepreneur. But this isn't a post about Dan Lok, this is a post about something Dan Lok opened my eyes to.

The video is of him hosting seminar somewhere in the world. During this seminar someone recorded this short video clip of him making what I think is a very important point. This point is...

Describe The Customer's Problem Better Than They Can Themselves

What does this mean? This means that if you can find a way within the first bit of your post or product review to describe their problem better than they can, they will assume you have a solution.

Imagine all the time's you have been to the doctor with an illness or a pain, and the doctor starts to ask how you feel.

You start to describe maybe a few symptoms and then you are interrupted by the doctor. They start to describe every other symptom you are feeling. You start thinking to yourself "holy shit... this person knows what's wrong with me. I should probably listen to what they have to say."

The same is applicable to your website and the information and value you provide. Thinking about your visitor's problem first, regardless of whether you are trying to sell to them, they will see you as someone who can help them, as well as someone who they can trust. In other words, an authority within your niche.

But remember this...

Just Like Kyle States, Provide Value First

Of course since we are all here on Welahty Affiliate and have been through the training we know that in order to get people to your site we need to provide honest content that provides value. Of course, we aren't trying to sell to people from the get go. This will just come off as seedy.

And while you shouldn't be selling too much from the beginning, you could still apply this principle. The next time you write a post, think about how you can describe the problem of the person who is reading it. Think about sitting on the other side of the computer screen. Who would you want to hear from? Someone who is trying to sell you something, and then offering a solution (i.e. their product), or would you rather want someone to be able to empathize with you? Exactly.

As you continue forward with your sites, think about this as you write your posts. If you provide enough value and descriptions of people's problems, you won't have that much difficulty selling to them when the time comes because they will already trust you.

Cheers,

Max
