Book Blogging mistake and redirection
Today I have been wondering what I wanted my site to become and by taking inspiration from other sites in my niche (which is book reviewing)
I have come to the conclusion that affiliate marketing is probably not a wise idea, but rather simply putting ads on the site though google adsense would make more sense.
After all it seems to me that having affiliate links on my website takes away from the product neutrality that a reviewer is supposed to have
I have come to the conclusion that if I am going to make money though this website I am going to do it though ad revenue and quality content rather then trying to 'sell' books to people.
Any comments and suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Brian, if you are reviewing books then it follows that we promote products to potential buyers. Having links in the review does not detract from the quality of the review but enhance it, just an opinion.
Just a thought you are reviewing books, someone is going to buy that book after reading your review so why should you not think in terms that it is you that benefits from your work instead of someone else. in the training, kyle says don't leave any crumbs on the table if done well we can live off of those crumbs. Just a thought.
We all have to follow our own path, my suggestion would be to follow through on the training and then make a decision down the road, see how your site develops and how the traffic is flowing. It may set your path moving forward.
As you can detect I am firmly in the affiliate marketing camp, all the best as you move forward and like someone famous said never say never.
