Meditation Garden on Sunday
As I walk thru my back yard here in beautiful Puerto Rico, I can't help feeling grateful for all that I've been blessed with. If you've graced my profile with your presence, you read that I am into everything that is for the betterment of MIND, BODY and SOUL!
For many years I have been a student of Zig Ziglar, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and Louise Hay. And one of my favorite is Napoleon Hill. My handbook, that I always refer to, is Think and Grow Rich. I keep it on my nightstand.
I am also a practitioner of Feng Shui and Yoga. One helps keep my house in order and the other helps keep me sane.Just kidding.........
There is something I would like to share with you that has taken me from a very unhappy place in my life to the most AMAZING life I've ever lived. For many years, I live my life for everyone else and never really took interest in my "wants" or "desires".....I tried so hard to make everyone like me. As a result, I was treated like "crap" and I would say thank you!
When I stopped caring what everybody else thought of me, I started to live a more enjoyable life. Have you ever heard the expression - Nobody can hurt your feelings without your permission? I think Eleanor Roosevelt said it. I realize that I needed to take care of me first.
It was alright to turn away from those who are toxic and only wanted to hurt me. As hard as that was, I did just that and moved away from family and those who no longer had my best interest at heart. Once I did that, I actually heard Angels singing......Ahhhhhhh.(Choir).
Speaking of Angels.......well, they have also guided me to WA and the fabulous community that I have found here. It appears that I am being re-stocked with new friends and acquaintances near and far! By the way, here in Puerto Rico we already have a social group who are like family to us.
Isn't LIFE Fabulous?

Thank you for reading my blog. Yes, we recently had it put in. Our new home needed some color outside and now we have these beautiful plants and flowers everywhere. I love bromeliads!

Hi Kim, thank you. They are bromeliads...one of my favorite as they are beautiful and easy to grow. The climate here is perfect for them as well as orchids. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog.
I love flowers and greenery, they are quite beautiful. Orchids are a favorite of mine. Climate in Michigan is not really good for those types of foliage. Have a wonderful day. Kim :))

Yes, I've grown so much, it's a little scary. They say better late than never. It took me many years to learn certain lessons. The peace I've found is like a drug and I will never go backward. Yes, life is too short and when you are in your senior years, it's even shorter. So, no time to waste on misery......only good!
