I'm on Page One in Google for my main keyword
So is that good I wonder? Who would put "beautiful quitters" in the search engine unless they have already heard of my service some other way? (To that extent I am advertising in the real world, and will be doing much more of that)..
As far as other keywords, nothing I tried ever jumped out as a winner-phrase, except maybe one I remember...a phrase "cigarette butt cans". The keyword-research project has held up my progress in other aspects of affiliate work because I can't come up with any winner words or phrases..and I have been looking forever! But Google is not particularly rewarding my effort re: other keywords. That's why I'm glad I have a strong "main" one.
I wanted to hold out in hopes I could get around this problem long enough to learn more about web creation in general and how to work the SEO professionally in spite of never having great keywords to use...
But now I'm on page one anyway..for the main keyword. I'm also on Page one for the Google/You Tube version of my main keyword/site; ditto for the Google Plus, the You Tube and the Facebook versions, when using either Yahoo or Bing SA's.
And all those link back to the main page.
And so far no one has seen my You Tube page yet (same name) but hopefully it's just a matter of time. Besides the link back I have there sets of "freedom" themed music...and freedom poetry, and related videos. Now I I wish someone could tell me how to have a feature-sized "homepage-video" on my You Tube "home page". Meanwhile I am gradually pumping out more content and trying to get more skilled at using WP....
Anyway....I want to again thank all interested persons...for being at all interested ;=)

I wonder if it is also smart if the keyword is a money maker at the end? One wants a good keyword, and not only for the number of hits one gets at the end. But maybe more important is how many buyers do the page hits. Is that possible to find out? I think Jaaxy cannot do it?

I don't want to change the main keyword although I always knew is wasn't something people would just think of, and as far as the other possible keywords, well there's just too much competition and use. So with more real exposure to business cards some people will pick up on this service and hopefully tell others. My google plus site is getting good too..and that is placing high on google and the other 2 searchengines as well, ditto for facebook. So I will make all that more interesting & hope for the best...
Well done. I have the same problems with keywords hopefully one day I will get noticed by Google. Keep up the good work your heading in the right direction.
Well, I did put 'beautiful quitters' in Keyword Tool, and the traffic does not look good. But I checked incognito in Chrome and your YouTube is there as well, on the first page. So wait and see what happens. Good start in any case. Best luck. Jovo
The regular site is about position 8 or 9 on page one and it is my title page so something's working. Elsewhere on Google Analytics it looks like over 500 people have glanced at the real page in maybe 3 months. And so you saw what I saw on googling beautiful quitters. The You Tube version is there and further down the real page is there. I am wishing for more luck and more learning to improve my ability to get winning alternative keywords....Thanks for the feedback ;=)
