Grumble grumble toil and trouble! with these free themes that is

OMG I am beginning to hate "free" and never thought I'd say that ..ever!! But I have to. These free themes are a massive bother and require iron patience or stellar experience and skill. So much goes wrong when I do fonts that just don't "take" and then I have to do them again and again and again. Then if I change the theme to something else and change back later SOOOO much gets screwed up I can scarcely describe it. Fonts are mixed together in the post and again the theme discourages easy application of different font choices.
Then it is almost impossible to center a title under a picture...there are three versions of our work..in the rough draft, then in the "reader mode" (how did THAT get into this process???), and finally in the published version. As often as not (maybe MORE often) the font will change and the size too and of course the placement of the caption so I always must do these about 15 times to get them close to right.
Some pictures just disappear from week to week and have to been installed again.

The "headings" function is almost impossible to use without gathering in huge blocks of text and screwing up the format with that too...no reason.....I guess you get what you pay for and if it's free then maybe I should expect stuff not to work.
Tonight I had to smooth out a thousand such glitches because I had changed my theme and too many problems were developing with that so I changed back to my other long-term favorite and the smoothing out for 40 posts and 8 pages took ALL NIGHT.... that is HOURS and HOURS!!! That's because every time I tried to fix something it mostly got more screwed up again....endlessly.
Now there is a cursed "reader's mode" that intervenes between the rough draft and the published copy and for the life of me it is USELESS but INFURIATING. It just slows things up and adds more colossal frustration to using these themes. Why did that happen and how can I contact WP to protest? It was so hard to do before that and now it's harder.
