A trip to the Lagoon Namibia

I recently traveled to the coastal towns in Namibia and I decided to go down to the lagoon. It was my first time to go there. I mostly just see it over a distance while I was on boat cruises. I must say it was a beautiful experience.

I'll share some photos that I captured. you have to know that I am also very new at capturing photos, so please bear with me.


As you can see in my cover photo, we have tens of thousands of lesser flamingos on the lagoon. They feed on the fish of the sea.

This is the Atlantic ocean that surrounds us, it is very beautiful. Our coastal towns are very special because that is where the ocean meets with the dessert. If you love to sky dive you should do it in Swakopmund so that you can see the breath taking scenery with your own eyes.

I love collecting shells and pebbles, I took a picture of this one before I picked it for my collection.

This is a black backed gull, he was strolling along the lagoon.

I really loved my time at the lagoon because it is so peaceful and quiet. If I lived close by, I would go there for jogging or to write my blogs.
